Be a Fundraiser
Anyone can be a fundraiser - all it takes is a little time and imagination. Children or students can raise funds through their schools and colleges, With sponsored events, cake sales, coffee mornings, concerts, art sales, dress down days and discos.
The Building Blocks money boxes can be used to generate fun events, for example build a wall, how many full boxes does it take to fill a minibus, which student can fill the most boxes, etc... As the Building Blocks Appeal is all about children, and many children are been born at their local hospital, this is a great way to introduce young people to helping others.
Fundraising at work is a fantastic way to boost morale and give something back to the hospitals which care for staff and their families. Many people enjoy taking part in sponsored events, parties, dances and sales.
Friends and family are always keen supporters of those they care for. If you are planning any form of event, talk to your friends and recruit your family!
